By sending us an email, participating in activities or by subscribing to our newsletter, you agree for us to contact you, including for marketing purposes. You have the right to unsubscribe, or request that we remove your information from our database. ALL ACTIVITIES & EVENTS

GENERAL
The activities discussed on the website are pure indications of activities that can be organised. The company will not be held accountable for any changes made, nor is the company liable to any damages made by a third party.

All events SERENE organises are designed for educational and inspirational purposes, they do not replace any professional medical advice or treatments. By subscribing and taking part in an event organised by SERENE, you agree to our terms and our privacy policy. All food-related advice is purely inspirational. Every individual is different and therefore all advice must be adapted to your personal health condition.

Participation in Classes and Activities
Acknowledgement of Risk
Participation in yoga, movement and wellness practices involves physical activity and carries inherent risks of injury.
By attending any session at Serene, participants acknowledge that:
- they participate voluntarily
- they assume full responsibility for their health and wellbeing
- they accept all risks associated with participation

Participants are encouraged to move within their own limits and respect guidance provided by instructors.

External teachers and studio rentals
Occasionally Serene may allow external instructors to host private sessions in the studio. External instructors operate independently and are responsible for:
- their own participants
- professional insurance
- booking and payment management

A separate agreement defines the terms of the rental. Serene is not liable for activities organised by third parties using the studio.

LIABILITY
Participants confirm that they are physically and mentally fit to participate and take full responsibility for informing us, and any third party, of any physical conditions, injuries, health problems or other related information that we or any third party should know, or will consult a medical professional if unsure about their ability to participate, before attending a workshop or session. Serene guides are not medical professionals and the sessions are not a substitute for medical advice.

We do not assume any responsibility for accidents that are caused by a customer or can be traced to their own actions or are caused by factors outside of human control.
The company does not give any warranties, nor can be held liable, for the correctness or accuracy of any communication and services provided by third parties.

Information on this site, as well as all events SERENE organises, are designed for educational and inspirational purposes only. They do not replace any professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. 

Every opinion or message is that of the individual and not of the company.

PICTURES & VIDEO MATERIAL
The company reserves the right to use any photograph or video taken by the company, during an activity organised by the company or their partners, without the written permission of those included in the photographs or videos. The company may use the photograph or video in any online and offline publications or media. By participating in an activity organised by the company or by failing to notify the company, in writing, that you do not wish your picture or video to be used in any online and offline publication, you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify the company from any and all claims involving the use of your picture or likeness.

SALES TERMS & CONDITIONS 

PRICING & OWNERSHIP
All prices displayed on serene.eco are quoted in euros and include VAT (in general 21%). Shipping and handling costs are not included, unless separately stated or explicitly agreed in writing. Shipping costs are added when placing your order. Serene may modify prices at any time. The billing is done according to the price on the order confirmation. All orders are payable in euros. Ownership of the goods will pass to you when we have received payment for the goods from you in full and the goods have been delivered to you.

ORDERS
We reserve the right to refuse orders or to attach conditions to them, unless agreed otherwise. All product information, prices and order information are subject to change or correction at any time. By placing an order you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and that you are (in the case of an individual) at least 18 years old.

The company reserves the right to cancel orders, without compensation, if circumstances beyond its control prevent it from executing an order in the normal fashion. It is expressly agreed that strikes, transport problems, fires, floods, damage to equipment, riots, war, epidemics and accidents, whether at our premises or those of our supplier, shall be regarded as instances of circumstances beyond our control, even if they are only partial, and regardless of their cause.

PAYMENT
For your security and convenience, all payments can be made by credit or debit card. If you require another payment option such as direct deposit, please contact us on letusknow@serene.eco.

DUTIES AND TAXES
The customer is responsible for any additional taxes and duties. Serene is not responsible for any fees charged by customs.

FORCE MAJEURE
Serene cannot be held liable for possible delays in the execution or the non-execution of an order as a result of circumstances beyond our control. We have the right to assert force majeure in the event of problems caused by the supply or shortage of raw materials, interruption or permanent shutdown of production, strikes, lock-outs, any other forms of work interruption or collective labour disputes, energy shortages, delays in transport, which affect Serene and/or its suppliers, even if these difficulties could have been foreseen.

JURISDICTION
Disputes concerning the conclusion, validity, interpretation or implementation of the sales contract or of the current general terms and conditions are subject exclusively to Belgian law and fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Brussels.

SHIPPING
We offer free shipping in Belgium from €95. Under €95 or outside Belgium we charge:

• BELGIUM: €9.50 
• NETHERLANDS, GERMANY, FRANCE, SPAIN, LUXEMBOURG: €14,50 for orders under €149. Free shipping applies to orders over €149,00 euro.
• OTHER COUNTRIES: shipping rates depend on the country. Please contact us for the shipping rate for the country where you would like to receive the package.

To support the environment, we use RePack. How does it work?

There is a charge of €3.50 for the RePack packaging calculated in the shipping amount, added when you finish your order. Once you resend the RePack to the indicated address (free of charge), you’ll receive a gift voucher of 10%. You can use the voucher in any store that uses RePack.

Once the RePack depot has received the returned package, you’ll receive the link to your voucher by email. By buying from Serene, you agree with our Privacy Statement.

RETURNS
We want you to be happy with your purchase. In case you are unhappy, you can return your order as long as the following conditions are satisfied:

1. You inform us within 14 days of your purchase.

2. You inform us via email at letusknow@serene.eco.

3. The product(s) you are unhappy with are sent back in their original state, including any packaging or labels.

4. The customer accepts full responsibility for the product until it reaches us.

5. All shipping costs for returns are paid by the customer, and will not be eligible for a refund.

6. Items on sale cannot be returned or exchanged.

Good to know: the RePack package can be used for returns, free of charge.
